Additional guidance will be available to New York locations focused on advancing renewable energy projects, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) recently announced. Locally based outreach coordinators provided through the Clean Energy Communities program are available to help with energy-saving efforts of participating areas. Clean Energy Communities Coordinators are action-oriented partner organizations available at no extra cost to local governments prepared to advise communities with technical support and general guidance. With this assistance, participating communities will have the ability to prioritize clean energy goals and earn grant funding.
