NYSSGC member Bloom Energy successfully finished installing a fuel cell system at financial giant Morgan Stanley’s global headquarters in Times Square, in the heart of New York City. The project will decrease greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and provide approximately 6 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity each year. Fellow consortium member New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) was able to provide support for this project under the Renewable Portfolio Standard Main Tier Program to develop renewable energy projects. The project is another step forward in Governor Cuomo’s Reforming the Energy Vision initiative (REV) plan to have clean, renewable energy across the state.
