David A. Ross

General Manager—North Region

David A. Ross is General Manager of GE Energy’s Services business for the Northern US and Canada. He leads a team of 200+ commercial professionals responsible for GE Energy’s $2 billion Services portfolio of power generation, transmission and distribution, industrial, environmental services and optimization and control products and services. He was named to his current position in January 2007.
Ross’ General Electric career began in 1990 as a field engineer and has 19 years of experience serving customers in the Energy market. He has progressed through leadership roles in the General Electric Company, including various global positions heading up the commercial organizations for GE’s T & D business, Industrial Services and Controls businesses.
Mr. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and
is Six Sigma Black Belt Certified. He serves on the Board of Directors of the
New York State Smart Grid Consortium. Mr. Ross lives in Pennsylvania with his wife Karyn. They have three children.
