Cities Nationwide Committing to Renewable Energy

New York is one of a growing number of cities that have pledged their commitment to clean energy.  The first cities in Wisconsin and Louisiana have committed to transitioning 100 percent of their energy to renewables, joining 23 other cities which have already planned to do so. Madison, Wisconsin, is the largest city in the region to commit to this, with an additional goal of reaching net-zero carbon emissions. Abita Springs, Louisiana, has set December 31, 2030, as a target date, and Madison is developing a plan which will include target dates and budget estimates. Read more from Breaking Energy here.
