Stony Brook University’s Economic Development is hosting a Technology Commercialization Conference that will showcase potentially commercializable technologies created by Stony Brook University faculty, staff and graduate students. The audience will include: potential investors and investor groups from Long Island and the greater New York metropolitan area; companies that are potential licensees or strategic partners; and individuals with experience or a strong interest in innovation. The conference will focus on three main areas: Information Technologies, Biotech and Healthcare, and the Energy sector; but no credible innovation will be overlooked.
This event is open to all Stony Brook University students and faculty. If you would like to present your latest technological innovation at the conference for potential commercialization, you will need to submit the following:
- Abstract, one page or less describing your innovation
- The problem/need that it addresses
- The nature and scope of the business opportunity, including potential customers
- The competition (current solutions to the problem and their deficiencies)
