Governor Names Finalists for NYS 76West Clean Energy Competition
New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo announced eight finalists for the 76West Clean Energy Competition in the state’s Southern Tier. The $2.5 million competition is one of the largest in the country focusing on supporting and growing clean energy businesses. “This competition is not only spurring job growth and combatting climate change, but also attracting top-notch businesses from across the nation to New York,” Governor Cuomo said. NYS Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul noted that “the Governor’s Reforming the Energy Vision [REV] strategy has made New York a national leader in combatting climate change.
