New Competition for Smart Cities, Smart Grids, and Clean Energy Startups
The launch of the 2017 Urban Future Competition sponsored by NYSSGC member New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) was announced by The Urban Future Lab during the NY REV Future 2017 conference in September. Winners will receive $50,000 each as well as a place in New York City’s longest-running clean tech incubator program, ACRE, housed in the Urban Future Lab. Located at NYSSGC member NYU Tandon School of Engineering, the Urban Future Lab is New York City’s hub for smart cities, smart grid, and clean energy. Debuting the most innovative smart city, smart grid, and smart nobility technologies, the Urban Future Competition brings together entrepreneurs with mission-driven investors, policy leaders, and corporate sponsored for a pitch competition.
