New Coordinated Transaction Scheduling System for Improved Power Flow

To make transactions for electric energy more streamlined and achieve improved power flow between the New York and New England markets, the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) and ISO New England Inc. have launched a new market system between their regions. The Coordinated Transaction Scheduling (CTS) system supports more efficient use of transmission lines by giving market participants access to the lowest-cost power source available between the two regions.
